Dr. Zoe Bray specialises on issues of identity politics. She has an MA Honours in Social Anthropology and Development from the University of Edinburgh, and a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute, Florence, Italy. She was research assistant and later fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, looking at minority mobilisation in European borderlands. In 2006, Zoe chose to interrupt her academic career to pursue her passion for painting. She continues nonetheless to do research, predominantly self-funded, publishing articles, teaching seminars, and taking part in conferences worldwide.
